Katherine Richards Design were invited to create a theatrical and dramatic display for Venice Biennale 2016.

The invitation came from SoFarSoNear who are an internationally known, Milan based and multi award winning fabric design company who weave with pure copper thread.

​

The collaboration was three way and included Sans Souci from Czech Republic who are world renowned for their crystal lighting sculptures.

 

Katherine's design was chosen by the Biennale approved selection panel which made her one of only three British designers to become part of the Venice Biennale Design 2016; a very exciting and enviable accolade indeed.
