Influenced by her time in the theatre as a costume and set designer, Katherine’s range of lighting is dramatic, yet playful. Each one is a true statement piece.
Fascinated by shadows, contrast and texture, each lamp has been originally sculpted by Katherine Richards then carefully cast by a talented artisan who regularly works for the film and TV industry. The lampshades were designed by Katherine and beautifully crafted by the shade makers for the Royal Opera House. Finally, Katherine meticulously gold leaf’s each individual lamp for a personal touch.
